The rule Additional tasks sets additional workload in activities which was not estimated in the workload forecast (for example, changing price tags)

The workpload of an additional task will be assigned for the selected activity and at the selected time. These are additional workload hours that are added to the forecasted workload. 
We recommend to create an additional task when workload to complete a task is equal to or longer than 30 minutes


Cases of use:

- Additional workload per day to change the price tags at the store

- An employee has to prepare a report every Monday, and the system has to plan time in the shift

- Every day, employees must devote a total of 40 hours for outgoing calls

- Deputy manager has to devote 4 hours per day to perform tasks assigned by the manager


Steps to be taken to set the workload:


1. Choose Rules in the main menu

2. Click Create a new rule

3. Click the rule Extra tasks

4. Complete the main rule information: valid fromvalid to (optional, if the rule is valid indefinitely)rule name

Rule names cannot repeat in the system

5. Click orange text 1 hour.


6. Complete workload in working hours and indicate if the task is mandatory

Mandatory task - the system will plan the task and all hours 100%

Optional task - the system will take the priority of the activity into account and may schedule fewer working hours for the task

7. Click Save

8. Click hours and additional filters as needed

9. Click Create a rule


A green success message will inform of a successful creation of a rule
