Each point (for which work schedules are planned) is assigned working hours.

 

A manager or an organisation manager can change working hours in WORKOFO. It is important that an organisation manager or a manager is assigned to a specific group.


The article consists of two parts:

Part I - instruction on how to change working hours of a point (if working hours change for a long period of time)

Part II - instruction on how to add an exception to the working hours (if working hours change for one day)


Part I

Steps to be taken to change working hours:


1. Choose a group from the list of managed groups.

2. Choose Points in the top menu  

3. Choose a point where working hours are to be changed from the list and click View


4. Click Edit working hours

5. Set new working hours according to the day of the week

On public holidays, the system plans working time as if they were Sundays (the second clause of this article, unless indicated otherwise).

6. Choose the date (Valid from*) indicating when the new working time will take effect

7. Clieck Save


Part II

If necessary to indicate different working hours for one day (e.g. if January 1 has different working hours than that on Sunday), use the functionality Exceptions to working hours in the system.  


Steps to be taken to enter exceptions to working hours:


3. Choose a point from the list which requires entering exceptions to working hours and click View

4. Choose Exceptions to working hours in the new window  

5. Click New exception


6. Complete a new window as necessary:

a) specify the date when the exception for working hours will apply

b) choose Closed/ Open indicating whether the system has to plan work shifts for the selected day

c) having selected Open, complete the working hours.

 

7. Click Save
